Founded in 1915, YASKAWA has in the last 100 years developed into a leading worldwide provider of inverter drives, servodrives and robots. Having integrated Vipa control and visualisation systems three years ago, the company is now the system provider for automation technology. With development and production in Europe and two offices in Austria in close proximity to customers, the long-established group has proven it is as committed to continuously increasing customer benefit as it is to resource conservation. It is extremely rare that a company in the automation technology sector can boast of an age reaching three figures. The newest member of this venerable circle is YASKAWA Electric. The company, which was founded in 1915 and has headquarters in Kitakyūshū on the southern Japanese island of Kyūshū, is one of the world's leading manufacturers in the areas of drive technology, industrial automation and robotics. On the fringes of the Hannover Messe, the globally active company with a workforce of nearly 15,000 employees is treating itself to a new logo that aims to express more dynamism in addition to trust and stability on its 100th birthday.

Another new addition in the anniversary year is the YASKAWA office in Linz, from which Business Development Manager Andreas Schaufler will coordinate and support the traditionally very independent company divisions and sales partners in Austria.
